I am happy to announce that I will be showing a series of watercolors depicting deviant femmes in the first 11 cards of the Major Arcana tarot deck at Club Privata in Portland, Oregon for the month of May! (whew!) Here is the show write up:
Deviant Femme Tarot
After a long absence, Hooligan Lili is back with a new project to share with you. Deviant Femme Tarot is an adaptation of tarot cards into the realm of feminism, eroticism, and sadism. The first eleven cards of the Major Arcana illustrate the juxtaposition of divination, religion, and kink in what will ultimately become an entire tarot deck over the course of the year. Each card stays inline with the tarot symbology, but deviates from the norm by using only the female figure in all positions of power. Come to the art opening at Club Privata to see what these watercolor illustrated cards hold in store for you.

Confidence Talks. 4/27/18.
By Zoe Brook.
In response to Flauntleroi.

When you meet their eyes straight on
when your shoulders thrown back without constant maintenance
that little smile in the corners of your mouth
the steps you take that float on air
laughter that rings around you freely
light shining off your hair
sparking in your eyes
that’s confidence talks
you speak into confidence
until confidence speaks into you
no matter which is this moment
in this moment
you
are incredibly sexy.

For the 5th year in a row, my artwork has been selected to show at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival. This year, my watercolor “Flauntleroi” will be on display and for sale at the show April 27-29th at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. See details on the festival here.

Not a Do Nothing Bitch

Illustration

Ronda Rousey is the first and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, and used the phrase “Don’t Be a Do Nothing Bitch” to raise funds and awareness for those with body image issues. To quote Ronda and popsugar.com:

“Ronda could not possibly care less about what you think of her “masculine” body, and she’s confident as hell, as she should be. “There’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose, because I’m not a do-nothing b*tch.”

The campaign is over, but the message remains loud and clear.
